Assistant Chief Concierge

About the role

The Assistant Chief Concierge will support the Concierge Manager in delivering the Service Promise to guests at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara. This position combines leadership, guest‑service expertise, and operational oversight to ensure an exceptional, personalized experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Concierge department, adjusting schedules according to business forecasts.
• Coach, lead, and guide a team of Concierge Agents, providing feedback and training opportunities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, promotions, and city events to advise guests accurately.
• Coordinate guest requests for dining, tours, transport, medical services, childcare, and other off‑site amenities.
• Manage the handling, delivery, and storage of luggage, parcels, messages, and other guest items.
• Control financial processes, including receipt filing, cost monitoring, and adherence to financial guidelines.
• Ensure safety standards, proper use of equipment, and compliance with departmental SOPs.
