About the role
The Assistant Concierge Manager will uphold the brand’s Service Promise by leading the Concierge team to deliver memorable, personalised experiences for guests at Banana Island Resort Doha. This role requires a proactive attitude, a welcoming smile, and the ability to turn unique guest requests into reality.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Concierge department, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Coach, lead, and guide a team of Concierge Agents, adjusting schedules based on business forecasts.
- Provide ongoing feedback, training, and development opportunities for staff.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, promotions, and city events.
- Coordinate guest requests for dining, tours, transport, medical services, childcare, and other off‑site experiences.
- Manage printed materials such as brochures, maps, and local guides for guest use.
- Handle luggage, messages, parcels and ensure efficient storage and delivery.
- Control financial aspects of concierge services, adhering to cost guidelines and maintaining accurate documentation.
