Assistant Manager Business Process Management (Qatarization)

About the role

QNB Group, the largest bank in the Middle East and Africa, is hiring an Assistant Manager Business Process Management in its Operations department in Doha, Qatar. The role identifies current processes, documents them, helps stakeholders agree on new designs and leads cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Run, execute and steer projects using Lean, Six Sigma and change management standards, and implement KPIs and best practices for the role
• Lead cross-functional design teams to map current processes, find inefficiencies, measure performance and recommend improvements
• Implement solutions that improve output volumes, quality, timelines and costs, and report progress regularly
• Work with stakeholders to define enhancement areas and improve relevant KPIs
• Help customers with product queries and meet Service Level Agreements with internal units to reduce turnaround times
• Provide accurate data to auditors, compliance, financial control and risk when required
• Work with the Head of Group Operations Process Enhancement on mandates, project ideas and scoping, and gather data on reengineering initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly rated international bank or organization, in process reengineering, business consulting, project management or equivalent financial services experience
• Operational and project management experience, including large company-wide programs with partial subproject responsibility
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt with demonstrated use of Six Sigma methodology
• Knowledge of financial services from an operational and support perspective
