Assistant Manager, People Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager, People Development will support the overall learning and talent development function across all assets. The role requires strong organizational, administrative, computer and engagement skills across all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and drive organizing the recording, reporting and reviewing of all learning and development materials, resources, records, reports, etc.
• Organize New Team Member Orientation, from enrollment, welcoming, facilitating sections and engaging throughout the program.
• Lead and liaise with departmental trainers to support their needs and report submissions.
• Liaise with functional Program Leads to support organizing their training, refreshers and other training needs.
• Drive grooming standards across all departments.
• Drive learning needs analysis and annual training plan cycle.
• Support other learning and development, quality programs, initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Hospitality Management, People Development, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in People Development, Training, or HR, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong experience in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and developing annual training plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and engagement skills across all levels.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in onboarding, orientation programs, and coordinating with departmental trainers and leaders.
• Passion for people development, continuous learning, coaching, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
