About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, and driving profitability across both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and train FOH and BOH staff to meet daily requirements and maintain operational excellence.
Manage pre‑opening activities, including staffing, training, inventory, menu development, budgeting, and marketing plans.
Oversee scheduling, attendance, leave rosters, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
Collaborate with the executive chef and bartender on new menu items and beverage lists.
Monitor inventory, ordering, and storage to ensure quality, quantity, and cost control.
Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, budgets, and sales targets.
Handle PR, marketing activities, and generate regular operational reports.
Maintain health, safety, and security standards, including hygiene, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
