Associate & Senior External Auditor – Qatar (Qatari Nationals)

About the role

EY is seeking Associate and Senior External Auditors who are Qatari nationals to join its Doha audit team, supporting clients in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit engagements, providing insights on financial statements, and contributing to a better working world.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements, working collaboratively with team members and senior staff.
• Prepare for and attend meetings with client management, assisting in the preparation of audit reports and schedules.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate potential business opportunities and audit risks.
• Contribute to people initiatives such as recruiting and retaining assurance professionals.
• Ensure audit work is of high quality and reviewed appropriately.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in external audit.
• Qatari national.
• Strong academic record with a degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
• Pro‑active, accountable and results‑driven with strong communication skills.
