About the role
The Automotive Service Advisor greets customers, interprets their service needs, and ensures a smooth service experience from vehicle receipt to release. The role involves coordinating with technicians, cashiers, and workshop controllers to deliver accurate estimates and timely service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer phone queries, and provide price estimates at vehicle receipt.
- Record accurate information on job cards and ensure clear instructions for technicians.
- Liaise with cashiers for payment, workshop controllers for scheduling, and parts department to promote parts sales.
- Maintain a clean reception area and ensure vehicles are parked correctly.
- Interpret warranties, inform customers of their rights, and manage appointment systems.
