About the role
Join Qatar Duty Free’s front‑of‑house team as a Barista, preparing high‑quality hot and cold beverages for customers at Hamad International Airport.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, learn their preferences and provide personalized service.
- Prepare and serve drinks according to brand recipes and standards.
- Handle POS transactions, process payments and give accurate change.
- Maintain product freshness, monitor expirations and follow food‑safety checklists.
- Keep the bar area clean, sanitized and well‑organized; stock supplies using FIFO.
- Develop new drinks based on market trends and promote upselling.
- Report customer complaints to the manager and ensure timely resolution.
Required profile
- High school qualification.
- 2‑3 years experience as a barista, preferably in a luxury brand or 5‑star hotel.
- Strong command of English; Arabic is a plus.
Required skills
- Coffee art and design portfolio.
- Knowledge of tea varieties and loose‑leaf preparation.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
