Bellboy – Guest Services & Luggage Assistance

About the role

The Bellboy provides a warm welcome and professional luggage assistance to guests, enhancing their stay through courteous service and helpful information about the hotel and local area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering luggage safely and efficiently.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features, hotel facilities, and available services.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, dining outlets, meeting facilities, and local attractions.
• Support check‑in and check‑out processes as directed by the Front Office team.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Arrange transportation services such as taxis, airport transfers, and valet.
• Store and retrieve luggage in the baggage room while maintaining accurate records.
• Keep lobby, entrance, and baggage areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Deliver messages, parcels, mail, and amenities to guest rooms promptly.
• Assist guests with directions and recommendations for local attractions.
• Follow security procedures to ensure safety of guests, belongings, and hotel property.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security departments.
• Support emergency procedures and assist guests during emergencies as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hotel or customer‑service role preferred.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Good physical fitness with ability to lift and carry luggage safely.
• Professional appearance and grooming in line with hotel standards.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
