BMS Technician – Building Automation & Facility Management

About the role

A to Z Company is seeking an experienced BMS Technician to join its facility management and building automation team in Qatar. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Building Management Systems (BMS) and associated HVAC controls across commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission BMS hardware and software for HVAC, lighting, and other building services.
• Wire sensors, actuators, controllers, and control panels and perform functional verification.
• Monitor HVAC equipment (AHU, FCU, chillers, ventilation) via BMS, track alarms, trends, and generate daily operation logs.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in BMS, DDC panels, sensors, and wiring.
• Work with communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, HVAC, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a BMS Technician, preferably within the Gulf region.
• Prior experience in facility management or commercial building maintenance is advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Proficiency with BACnet, Modbus, and DDC communication protocols.
• Ability to perform wiring, commissioning, and troubleshooting of sensors, actuators, and controllers.
• Technical reporting and documentation skills.
