About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive new revenue opportunities for our agency in Qatar by identifying prospects, building relationships, and presenting tailored solutions that align with client objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the marketing, technology, and advertising sectors, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential clients through networking, research, events, and referrals.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and conduct market research to spot trends.
- Engage with key decision‑makers, understand their business challenges, and assess needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the agency’s capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure a smooth handover to internal teams.
- Represent the agency professionally at industry events and conferences.
- Track and report on business development activities, analysing sales data for improvement.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments, best practices, and competitive landscape.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within a creative agency or marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
