Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive commercial growth and acquire new business across Qatar’s Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical, energy and industrial sectors. The role focuses on building strong relationships with asset owners, operators, EPC/EPCM contractors and key industry stakeholders while promoting integrated industrial services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Qatar’s Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical and industrial markets.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Develop relationships with asset owners/operators, EPC/EPCM contractors, procurement teams and key decision‑makers.
• Promote integrated services such as scaffolding, insulation, protective coating/painting, refractory, fireproofing, rope access, maintenance and shutdown/turnaround services.
• Lead client registration, vendor pre‑qualification and market‑access activities.
• Manage opportunities from lead generation through tender, negotiation and contract award.
• Develop key accounts, cross‑selling opportunities and repeat business.
• Track upcoming projects, shutdowns, maintenance campaigns and market opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (preferred).
• 8–12+ years of Business Development, Sales or Commercial experience in Oil & Gas, industrial services, EPC, construction or maintenance.
• Strong Qatar market experience.
• Proven track record of winning and developing new business.
• Good understanding of tendering, pre‑qualification, vendor registration and contract negotiation.
