Cafeteria Supervisor

About the role

The Cafeteria Supervisor will oversee the daily operation of the employee dining facilities at Mondrian Doha, ensuring high standards of service, hygiene and food quality for staff across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation and delivery of food and refreshments to employees, maintaining service standards and ensuring availability for all shifts.
• Clean, maintain and restock equipment, service stations and storage areas using appropriate cleaning agents and following hygiene protocols.
• Set up dining tables, condiments and utilities according to service requirements and manage the employee menu and buffet items.
• Conduct stock taking, ordering, quality control and food safety checks in collaboration with the Hygiene Manager and Chief Steward.
• Participate in food welfare committee meetings, team trainings and occasional employee welfare events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar cafeteria or food‑service supervisory role.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills with a friendly personality.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
