Certified QHSE Food Hygiene Officer

About the role

The Certified QHSE Food Hygiene Officer will ensure full compliance with the company’s Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Food Safety standards across assigned sites. You will lead reporting, monitoring and continuous improvement activities to protect workers, customers and the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 100 % compliance with the Integrated HSE, Quality and Food Safety Management System.
• Prepare and submit monthly HSE statistics (man‑hours, LTIF, TRIR) to clients.
• Launch and oversee food‑safety campaigns on site.
• Support corrective and preventive action reports (CPAR) and track their implementation.
• Verify weekly monitoring documents for FSMS and QMS compliance.
• Coordinate customer‑satisfaction surveys and develop action plans with the Operations Manager.
• Ensure food, hand and surface samples are collected, sent to the laboratory and analysed according to company procedures.
• Respond to internal and external complaints within 24 hours and achieve satisfactory resolution within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Graduate degree or diploma in Microbiology or Food Technology.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH, CMIOSH, MIIRSM, or RSP.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a QHSE Officer in the food‑service or hospitality sector; experience in a healthcare facility is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2005, OHSAS 18001 and HACCP standards.
• Strong command of English and ability to work autonomously and authoritatively.

Required skills

• NEBOSH or equivalent occupational safety certification.
• CMIOSH or MIIRSM membership.
• Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, OHSAS 18001 and HACCP.
• Conducting HSE inspections and CPAR management.
• Food sample collection, laboratory coordination and data analysis.
• Complaint handling and customer‑feedback processing.
