Civil Supervisor – Industrial Facility Maintenance

About the role

The Civil Supervisor will oversee and coordinate civil maintenance activities within a major industrial facility in Qatar. The role requires strong expertise in structural maintenance, concrete rehabilitation, marine structures and contractor management while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Champion health, safety and environment standards, conduct safety walks, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Provide direct onsite supervision of contractors and subcontractors performing civil maintenance works, ensuring compliance with approved procedures, specifications and schedules.
• Support the Structural Engineer in planning, coordinating and executing concrete rehabilitation, structural repairs and marine infrastructure maintenance.
• Verify that all works meet construction drawings, technical specifications and quality standards, review work method statements and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor performance, maintain accurate maintenance records and develop structured work packs to address technical challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of civil maintenance experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, fertilizer or heavy‑industrial environments.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role managing maintenance or construction activities.
• Proven experience in concrete repair, structural maintenance and marine infrastructure upkeep.
