Cluster Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Cluster Director of Human Resources serves as the strategic HR business partner for multiple hotel properties, supporting General Managers and guiding HR managers across the cluster. This senior position drives talent attraction, development, and retention to align with brand and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with property General Managers to translate business priorities into HR strategies and actions.
• Develop and execute a Human Resources Business Plan that aligns with hotel, brand, and regional HR strategies.
• Visit each property quarterly, conduct annual HR audits, and ensure consistency of HR practices across the cluster.
• Lead the planning, execution, and analysis of Engagement Surveys and other employee experience initiatives.
• Present HR metrics (retention, open positions, training outcomes) to owners and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the Regional Senior Director of HR to maintain alignment with regional policies.

Required profile

• Four‑year bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in HR, operations management, or a comparable professional area.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic partner to senior leaders and to mentor HR teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on delivering measurable business results.
