Complex Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Complex Purchasing Manager will support the Executive Chef in managing all food and beverage procurement activities, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with sanitation standards for our Lusail operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an approved vendor list covering all product categories.
• Order food and beverage items based on business needs and budgetary targets.
• Enforce first‑in/first‑out inventory rotation and monitor stock levels.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, checking quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Prepare and analyse cost reports, period‑end inventory, and menu costing using existing software tools.
• Communicate with kitchen, restaurant management, and suppliers to align delivery schedules with production requirements.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and security standards are upheld in the storeroom.
• Maintain accurate invoicing, bookkeeping, and controllable logs for food and beverage items.

Required profile

• Four‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or at least two years of purchasing experience.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage cost control and inventory management.
• Ability to generate accurate reports and presentations in a timely manner.
