Concierge

About the role

A full-time, non-management Concierge position at a Ritz-Carlton hotel in Doha, Qatar. The role delivers the brand's Gold Standards through attentive, personalized service and handles guest requests, inquiries and special arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange special guest requests such as transportation, reservations and dry cleaning, and follow up on special requests to ensure satisfaction
• Provide guests with accurate information about the property and local amenities, including special events and activities
• Answer, record and process guest calls, messages, requests and concerns, contacting the right departments to resolve them
• Monitor the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety and guest well-being
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager and complete required safety training and certifications
• Review shift logs and daily memo books, and document pertinent information in logbooks
• Welcome guests according to company standards, assist people with disabilities and thank guests sincerely
• Follow company policies, keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets
• Work within quality assurance standards and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods and to lift objects up to 10 pounds
