Construction Supervisor – Instrument & Control (Offshore)

About the role

The Construction Supervisor (Instrument & Control) will coordinate offshore brownfield, shutdown and hook‑up activities for a large compression development program in Qatar. The role ensures safety, quality, integrity and project objectives are met while working closely with OESS, operations and EPC contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead offshore brownfield and hook‑up execution, including mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
• Supervise and control contractor/sub‑contractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation and international standards.
• Participate in daily safety, PTW and schedule meetings with contractors and ensure strict adherence to company rules.
• Review progress reports, highlight critical issues and coordinate resources to support efficient execution.
• Maintain permanent communication with OESS and operations during SIMOPS and ensure quality, effectiveness and consistency of execution processes.

Required profile

• High national diploma in Instrumentation and Control.
• 8+ years of experience in large offshore construction projects (brownfield, hook‑up, mechanical completion, pre‑commissioning, commissioning) within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of design standards, codes, safety criteria and execution methods for offshore facilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple internal and external interfaces and to drive EPC contractors toward efficient offshore execution.
