Consultant Family Medicine – Full‑Time in Qatar

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant in Family Medicine to provide comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care in Qatar. The role involves delivering preventive, diagnostic and long‑term management services to patients of all ages within a modern, multidisciplinary healthcare setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services to individuals across all age groups.
• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic conditions using evidence‑based practices.
• Conduct routine health assessments, preventive screenings and annual check‑ups.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialist referrals.
• Promote health education, vaccinations and lifestyle counseling.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and cardiovascular disorders.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with hospital policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement projects, CME activities and departmental meetings.
• Mentor junior physicians and support the development of clinical services.

Required profile

• MD, DNB, MRCGP, Arab Board or equivalent qualification in Family Medicine.
• Board certification or equivalent recognized consultant qualification.
• 5–10 years of post‑specialisation experience at consultant level.
• Eligibility for, or ability to obtain, a Qatar medical licence.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal abilities.
