Content Scheduling Specialist – In‑Flight Entertainment

About the role

As a Content Scheduling Specialist within Qatar Airways' IFEC team, you will shape the onboard entertainment experience for millions of passengers. You will manage the curation, scheduling and operational delivery of movies, TV series, live TV, VOD and other digital content across the airline’s inflight platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain content schedules for VOD libraries, Live TV channels and IFE cycles, ensuring on‑time deployment and schedule accuracy.
• Curate playlists and themed collections across genres, regions and demographics to boost passenger engagement.
• Enforce licensing and regulatory compliance by applying territory restrictions and rights limitations.
• Collaborate with global content partners, internal operations and technology providers to refresh content libraries in line with aircraft content cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in broadcast programming, OTT content scheduling or inflight entertainment planning.
• Proven ability to curate and manage large digital content libraries and complex refresh cycles.
• Excellent editorial judgement and coordination skills with content providers and internal teams across global markets.
