Entertainment Manager – Content Strategy & Curation

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking an experienced Entertainment Manager to shape and deliver a world‑class inflight entertainment experience. You will lead content strategy, curate a diverse portfolio and work closely with global partners, technology providers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with brand objectives and passenger demographics.
• Lead the curation, selection and acquisition of movies, TV, music, games and other entertainment content.
• Maintain and grow relationships with studios, distributors, licensing agencies and content service providers.
• Use data analytics and passenger insights to guide programming decisions and optimise content engagement.
• Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, copyright laws and cultural‑sensitivity standards.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate and optimise content delivery across IFE systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 6+ years of relevant experience, or diploma with 7+ years.
• Deep understanding of streaming, OTT trends and the wider media ecosystem, especially within IFE.
• Proven experience in data‑driven content curation or programming environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Managerial experience with coaching, delegation and team‑building capabilities.
