Contracts Analyst

About the role

Provide post‑award contracts support and analysis for the Onshore & Operations Support Group, ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy LNG policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑award contracts in line with QatarEnergy LNG systems and ethical standards.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date contracts list, tracking validity and cap‑value utilization.
• Coordinate periodic contractor performance evaluations and continuous contractor development, emphasizing local content.
• Review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for rate compliance, create purchase orders in SAP, and issue them to contractors.
• Develop and execute Contract Work Orders, manage final payments and contract close‑out.
• Support the yearly Contracts Demand Plan and provide accurate month‑end and year‑end accrual numbers.
• Ensure timely invoice clearance according to contract terms and conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cost and contracts management within the oil and gas industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong command of the MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Good understanding of contract law and industry practice.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Advanced Power BI.
