Contracts Analyst – Post Award Support

About the role

The Contracts Analyst will provide post‑award support and analysis for the Onshore & Operations Support Group, ensuring all contracts are managed in line with QatarEnergy LNG policies, procedures and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in post‑award management of Onshore & Operations Support contracts, ensuring compliance with QatarEnergy LNG policies.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date contracts register, monitor validity and cap‑value utilisation continuously.
• Coordinate periodic Contractor Performance Evaluations and support contractor development with a focus on local content.
• Review Installation Test Plans (ITPs) for rate compliance, generate purchase orders in SAP and manage Contract Work Orders through final payment and close‑out.
• Support the yearly Contracts Demand Plan and provide accurate month‑end and year‑end accrual figures.
• Ensure timely invoice clearance in line with contract terms and conditions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business Administration.
• Minimum six years of experience in cost and contracts management within the oil and gas sector.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP systems).
• Good understanding of contract law and industry practice.
• Advanced Power BI reporting skills.
