Core Banking Transformation - Operations SME (Business Analyst)

About the role

The Retail & Corporate Banking Operations SME acts as the bridge between back office operations stakeholders, technical program teams and vendors in the T24 banking transformation program. It covers all operations-related products (accounts, deposits, financing and payments) and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit requirements from business users in workshops and turn them into vendor specifications
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), review vendor Functional Specification Documents and obtain sign-off from all affected functions
• Manage scope by checking requests against program scope and goals
• Perform gap analysis between out-of-the-box Transact features and bank requirements, act as single point of contact for vendor queries and validate deliverables
• Map To-Be workflows, align operations with the new module architecture and define data validation and accounting rules
• Map legacy Transact data to the new Temenos modules, define cleansing rules, coordinate data cleansing and reconcile balances after migration
• Support test case design, lead user Acceptance Testing and take part in bug triage, defending requirements against change requests and negotiating workarounds
• Assess the impact of system changes on branches and back office, write user manuals, FAQs and SOPs, support training content and take part in vendor Train-the-Trainer sessions

Required profile

• Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience in large-scale Temenos core banking transformation programs as a client-facing business analyst or SME
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Middle East retail and corporate Islamic banking operations covering accounts, deposits, financing and payments
• Certified Temenos consultant with minimum 5 years of experience in Islamic AA and Payment Hub implementations
