Crew Scheduling Specialist

About the role

The Crew Scheduling Specialist is responsible for coordinating offshore crew recruitment, logistics, and scheduling activities. Working closely with HR, crewing, and logistics teams, the specialist ensures compliance with company policies while facilitating smooth personnel movements for offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore crew recruitment, including interviews, reference checks, medicals, PPE, payroll, and onboarding documentation.
• Plan and manage COVID‑19 compliance and crew coordination.
• Maintain and update offshore personnel logistics rosters and the MAPS logistics database.
• Book helicopter transport, travel, accommodation, and transfers for offshore staff.
• Arrange international vessel crew logistics and travel for crew mobilization.
• Liaise with offshore administrators, subcontractors, and training departments to record crew movements, approvals, training, and certifications.
• Manage visa applications, tax briefings, and assistance for international offshore personnel.
• Coordinate cyclone evacuation logistics and PPE issuance.
• Prepare timesheets for offshore personnel temporarily assigned to onshore roles.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of HR, crewing, or logistics experience.
• Essential experience in oil & gas offshore construction.
• Strong personal communication skills.
• Familiarity with online crew management systems.
