Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to design, implement, and operate security controls across our technology environment. The role combines cybersecurity duties with selected IT infrastructure tasks, supporting the rollout of modern Microsoft cloud and endpoint management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, processes and operational procedures.
• Build and manage Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview and Data Loss Prevention capabilities.
• Establish identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access and Privileged Access Management.
• Implement endpoint security, compliance and device management with Microsoft Intune.
• Deploy and configure Microsoft 365, Azure and supporting infrastructure services.
• Develop security baselines, hardening standards and technical documentation.
• Support secure network architectures, firewall policies, VPN security and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, threats and alerts.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Assist with security governance, risk assessments, audits and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security or security operations.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Defender security solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID security features, MFA and Conditional Access.
