Data Governance (Privacy and Security) Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Governance (Privacy and Security) Specialist to support a large‑scale eHealth programme. The role focuses on privacy governance, audits, assessments and data‑protection controls for health information and enterprise data.

Key responsibilities

• Operate privacy governance, conduct audits, assessments and DLP follow‑up.
• Provide privacy reviews, PIA/DPIA support and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain data‑mapping, classification and processing inventories.
• Develop privacy notices, templates, policies and deliver training.
• Monitor ISO 27001/27701/27018, NIST and CIS controls and report regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in data privacy, data‑protection compliance or a related discipline.
• Experience conducting privacy reviews, audits and advising stakeholders.
• Hands‑on exposure to data‑discovery, privacy or DLP tooling.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure or similar cloud environment.
• Microsoft Purview or equivalent discovery/governance tools.
• DLP tooling and exception handling.
• Data‑discovery and data‑mapping tools.
