Delivery Lead – Investment Systems

About the role

The Delivery Lead – Investments is accountable for the successful delivery of the bank's investment management platform and the broader technology change agenda across front‑office investment, middle‑office, and private‑wealth functions. The role blends project delivery with business analysis, drawing on deep investment‑management experience to ensure the platform and supporting workflows are fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of the investment management platform build‑out and the resulting program of downstream work.
• Select and apply the appropriate delivery methodology for each initiative (waterfall, agile, or iterative/incremental) based on the nature and risk profile of the work.
• Own technology integration with internal and external platforms, market‑data providers, and third‑party sources to capture investment data and details.
• Drive business analysis across front‑office investment, middle‑office, and private‑wealth functions, ensuring requirements are complete and accurate.
• Manage vendors delivering the investment platform, tracking fixed‑price or time‑and‑materials engagements and ensuring spend is justified and within scope.
• Track and manage project and program budgets, escalating variances and maintaining adherence to approved financial boundaries.
• Establish and maintain delivery methodology, standards, and governance, designing PMO templates, artifacts, and supporting tooling.
• Plan and run the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process, covering risk assessment, business sign‑off, and release scheduling.
• Serve as the liaison for risk and audit response, handling external assessments and departmental audits.
• Compile portfolio‑level reporting across technology applications, projects, and spend.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in investment management, private‑wealth, or asset‑management technology, with several years focused on private‑markets technology.
• Strong formal project/program delivery background, experienced across multiple delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative).
• Proven business‑analysis experience across investment operations, including front‑office, middle‑office, and portfolio‑management workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• PMP or equivalent formal project‑management certification (required).
