Deputy Group Finance Manager

About the role

The Deputy Group Finance Manager will lead the finance function across the group, providing strategic insight and ensuring robust financial governance. This senior position reports directly to senior management and supports the board in achieving the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Financial Planning and Analysis: develop and manage the FP&A function, delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Financial Reporting: ensure timely, accurate consolidated financial statements and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Budgeting: coordinate the annual budgeting process, consolidate business‑unit budgets and perform variance analysis.
• Cash Flow Management: manage group liquidity, implement cash‑flow forecasting and optimization strategies.
• Internal Controls: establish robust controls, conduct regular audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Financial Strategy: devise and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives, advising senior management and the board.
• Tax Planning and Compliance: oversee tax compliance and develop planning strategies to optimize the group’s tax position.
• Risk Management: identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency, interest‑rate and credit exposures.
• Investment Management: evaluate capital‑expenditure projects, acquisitions and other investment opportunities.
• Team Leadership: lead, coach and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 15+ years of finance experience
• CMA or CA certification
• Experience in the food/hospitality industry is a plus
