Development Engineer Level II – MRO Services

About the role

We are seeking a Development Engineer Level II to join our MRO Services team in Doha. The role ensures that the Qatar Executive fleet and contracted third‑party aircraft comply with all continuing airworthiness requirements, coordinating regulatory mandates, technical standards and airworthiness instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level engineering support to Maintenance, Qatar Executive and external airline customers, resolving complex technical queries and investigating recurrent defects.
• Liaise with OEMs, vendors and technical data providers to clarify engineering issues and validate recommendations.
• Coordinate execution of customer requirements with internal stakeholders, MRO partners and OEM representatives, ensuring timely implementation and documentation closure.
• Review and implement technical proposals in line with approved TPM procedures, delivering evidence‑based recommendations on airworthiness impact.
• Monitor global industry trends, OEM communications and in‑service issues, participating in conferences and workshops to identify emerging risks.
• Validate engineering data, technical documentation and embodiment records for completeness and compliance before implementation.

Required profile

• Engineering background with knowledge of continuing airworthiness requirements.
• Experience in analyzing root causes of airworthiness and reliability issues.
• Ability to assess operational and financial impact of technical findings.
• Strong coordination skills with OEMs, vendors and internal teams.
