Direct Tax Manager

About the role

MBG Corporate Services is seeking a seasoned Direct Tax Manager to lead corporate tax compliance and advisory services for its multinational client base. The role combines technical tax expertise with business development and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax compliance, including calculations, disclosures, tax payments and filing of returns.
• Provide advisory services on corporate income tax, international tax, cross‑border implications and DTAA interpretations.
• Develop new business opportunities and expand the corporate tax practice.
• Design and implement tailor‑made tax solutions for clients.
• Build strategic alliances with external organisations to enhance MBG’s brand.
• Support product development initiatives and revenue‑growth projects.
• Lead, coach and retain a high‑performing tax team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification.
• 6‑8 years of experience in a professional services firm with a tax practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate, international and cross‑border tax.
• Proven experience leading engagements for multinational clients.
• Ability to work across functional teams and leverage technology.
• Demonstrated inspirational leadership and mentoring skills.
• High professional integrity and excellent communication abilities.
