Director of Information Technology

About the role

The Director of Information Technology will lead the design, implementation and governance of Naufar’s IT strategy, ensuring that robust, fit‑for‑purpose infrastructure and integrated business solutions support the organisation’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and translate corporate strategy into actionable IT plans, aligning with the Operations division.
• Set departmental priorities, manage performance, and build a high‑performing talent pool to achieve strategic goals.
• Define an efficient organisational structure in partnership with HR to optimise resource utilisation and decision‑making.
• Oversee budget preparation, monitor financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead enterprise architecture, ensuring consistency, optimisation and compliance with international standards and local regulations.
• Translate business needs into IT projects, guaranteeing timely, cost‑effective and quality delivery.
• Monitor IT capacity to meet current and future demand, driving continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in IT strategy and operations.
• Strong track record of managing large‑scale budgets and financial performance.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
• Experience ensuring compliance with information security and data‑privacy regulations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster workforce engagement.
