Discipline Engineer (Mechanical)

About the role

The Discipline Engineer (Mechanical) will lead and coordinate all mechanical engineering activities for large‑scale building construction projects, ensuring design, installation, testing, commissioning and handover meet project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering for HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, fire protection and other building services.
• Review technical submissions, engineering designs and manage material approvals.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of mechanical engineering experience in the construction industry, preferably in Qatar or GCC.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale residential, mixed‑use or institutional projects.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
