Early Years Teacher (2026/27) – Qatar Residents Only

About the role

Hayat Universal School is seeking an Early Years Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year. The position is open to Qatar residents only and involves delivering an integrated thematic curriculum to young learners in a BC Offshore School setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement lessons aligned with the school’s learning‑outcomes‑based curriculum, using differentiated instruction and thematic units.
• Organise enrichment activities such as field trips, showcases, concerts, and plays at class or school‑wide level.
• Assess student progress through formative assessments, provide feedback to students, parents and administration, and prepare formal report cards.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school Code of Conduct and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams, attend staff meetings, and participate in professional development sessions.
• Supervise students on‑site and off‑site, including after‑school pick‑up periods and parent meetings for at‑risk students.

Required profile

• Qatar resident with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or English Language.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with experience in differentiated learning, student inquiry instruction, and ESL education.
• Ability to respect and adapt to local cultural nuances.
• Willingness to commit to a two‑year contract.
