Electrical Engineer (MMUP/UPDA Grade A)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (MMUP/UPDA Grade A) to join our Al Khor team in Qatar. The role involves delivering electrical engineering activities for equipment and material, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sizing studies, develop technical specifications, and prepare requisitions and MTO for electrical equipment.
• Evaluate technical bids, follow up purchase orders, and coordinate delivery milestones with the Purchasing, Inspection and Projects disciplines.
• Use SmartPlant Materials (Marian) and Documentum for document and data management, and support VDDR & IAP processes.
• Collaborate with cost estimation teams on proposals and generate deviation and clarification lists.

Required profile

• Valid MMUP/UPDA First Category Engineer certification and residency in Qatar.
• 12‑15 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably on major projects in Qatar/GCC.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar engineering standards, regulations and project requirements.
