About the role
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting the team, and contributing to department improvement efforts to increase performance. The role also includes reporting equipment faults to engineers and supervisors.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out assigned preventive maintenance (PPM) correctly and on schedule.
- Perform corrective maintenance tasks and complete them promptly.
- Assist subcontractors with their assigned work.
- Report defects, breakdowns, damages, and other issues to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering staff.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and ensure proper spare part availability.
- Follow duty rosters, health, safety, quality, and company standards.
Required profile
- ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
- Problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Teamwork orientation.
Required skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Knowledge of MSDS guidelines.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards.
- Knowledge of BS standards.
