Electrical Site Engineer

About the role

Wings Technical Services W.L.L. is urgently hiring an Electrical Site Engineer for an industrial project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The position is full time, with immediate joining and 10 hours of duty per day. The salary is to be discussed.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities at the project site.
• Oversee cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination and cable routing works.
• Review electrical drawings, cable schedules and technical specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work meets project schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, QA/QC teams and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, permit-to-work procedures and site HSE requirements.
• Resolve technical issues related to electrical installation and cable works.
• Prepare daily progress reports, inspection records and site execution documentation.
• Manage manpower, materials, tools and equipment, and coordinate inspections, testing and rectification.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe working conditions.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, petrochemical or large-scale industrial projects.
• Proven expertise in cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination, cable routing, QA/QC inspections and site execution planning.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical standards and site safety requirements.
• Experience in RLIC or QatarEnergy projects, especially cable installation in pipe racks and process buildings, is an advantage.
