Electrical Technician

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, supporting the team, and contributing to departmental improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out assigned Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) accurately and on schedule.
• Perform corrective maintenance tasks promptly and ensure high-quality work.
• Assist subcontractors and report defects, breakdowns, damages, and spare‑part needs to the Fault Reporting Center or Engineer, TO, STO.
• Follow the duty roster, comply with company standards on hygiene, dress code and behaviour, and adhere to health, safety, quality and HSEQ procedures.
• Maintain and take care of tools, test equipment, and ensure proper documentation of spare‑part requirements.
• Escalate any lack of proper equipment or tools to the line manager and report accidents, incidents or near‑misses.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS.
• Problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Teamwork orientation and ability to follow HSEQ and client regulations.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Use and maintenance of test tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, BS standards.
