Electrical Technician

About the role

An Accor hotel in Doha is looking for an Electrical Technician on a full-time basis. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel's electrical systems, equipment and fixtures, and responds to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures within the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, lighting systems, power outlets, motors and control panels.
• Carry out regular inspections to identify and resolve potential electrical issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and hotel standards.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment when required.
• Coordinate with other engineering team members to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience, preferably in a hotel, commercial building or facility management environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC, BMS or other building systems, wiring, lighting, motors, generators and preventive maintenance practices is an advantage.
