Electrical Technician – Maintenance & Fault Reporting

About the role

The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, supporting the team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires timely reporting of faults and close collaboration with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical assets and ensure completion within assigned timeframes.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks, report faults to engineers and the Fault Reporting Center, and assist subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of defects, breakdowns, spare‑part requirements and follow the duty roster.
• Take care of tools, test equipment and ensure they are in good condition.
• Report any accidents, incidents or near‑misses to the line manager promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company HSEQ standards, personal hygiene, dress code and client regulations.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA and BS.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions from TO, STO and engineers.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.
