Electrician – Doha

About the role

As an Electrician you will assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures for Marriott International properties in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, and related systems.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on specifications and applicable codes.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of related electrical work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring installation and maintenance.
• Use of hand tools and power tools.
• Operation of testing devices (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes).
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
