Electromechanical Technician

About the role

The Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment, supporting the team and contributing to department improvement initiatives. The role also requires timely fault reporting to engineers and supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) accurately and on time.
• Carry out corrective tasks promptly and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
• Assist subcontractors with assigned work and report defects, breakdowns, or damages to the Fault Reporting Center or engineering staff.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and spare‑part inventories, reporting any shortages.
• Follow duty rosters, health‑safety‑environment (HSEQ) standards, and client regulations.

Required profile

• ITI Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards such as OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA, MSDS, NFPA, and BS regulations.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical systems.
