Emergency Response Planner

About the role

The Emergency Response Planner supports Emergency Response Coordinators in implementing robust emergency response systems and strategies for offshore assets of QatarEnergy and other offshore operators, while continuously improving preparedness through lessons learned from drills, incidents and global best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support Emergency Response Coordinators to implement emergency response systems and strategies for all offshore assets of QatarEnergy and other offshore operators.
• Integrate lessons learned from drills, incidents and global best practices into emergency preparedness planning and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in emergency response and/or safety, preferably in the offshore oil & gas industry.
• Broad knowledge of safety and emergency response aspects, sound understanding of offshore site operations and the Incident Command System (ICS).
• Experience developing emergency scenarios, response systems, policies and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent; preferred certifications include ICS 300, IMO Oil Spill Response Level 2/3, NEBOSH, BCP or Crisis Management.
