About the role

The Employee Relations – Senior Specialist will lead the development and supervision of employee‑relations activities, ensuring a fair and disciplined workplace. This role supports HR stability by handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and workforce transitions while promoting institutional values.

Key responsibilities

• Study, supervise and resolve grievances, complaints and workplace disputes in line with approved regulations.
• Review employment cases, provide opinions and recommendations to management.
• Manage resignation and termination processes, conduct exit interviews and analyse results.
• Assess employee transfer, redistribution and reinstatement requests, coordinating implementation with relevant parties.
• Conduct awareness activities on the Code of Conduct, policies and regulations; follow up on non‑compliance.
• Monitor absenteeism and job abandonment, propose corrective actions.
• Review disciplinary actions for regulatory alignment, justice and consistency.
• Analyse low‑performance and behavioural cases, prepare improvement plans.
• Provide career counselling, follow up on outcomes and give advisory support to departments.
• Review special employment cases, including health‑related matters, and recommend actions.
• Conduct field visits, analyse findings and take necessary actions.
• Prepare periodic reports on employee‑relations indicators and submit recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of employee‑relations policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of practical experience in employee relations or HR.
• Strong judgment, decision‑making ability and professional confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and conflict‑management skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multi‑party institutional settings.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is preferred.
