Engineering Manager

About the role

The Engineering Manager will provide technical leadership across engineering activities for a leading Grade A construction company in Qatar, ensuring design intent is effectively translated into delivery and supporting constructability on major building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all engineering and technical activities, including design coordination, constructability reviews, and timely resolution of technical issues.
• Review design drawings, shop drawings, RFIs and technical submittals, and coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams (civil, structural, MEP) and support planning and execution teams with technical inputs.
• Monitor engineering deliverables against the project schedule and ensure compliance with authority regulations and project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction projects, preferably in GCC/Qatar.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in English.
• Valid MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred/mandatory if applicable).
