Engineering Technician – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Engineering Technician provides essential routine and preventative maintenance for the hotel’s fleet of vehicles, tools and equipment. This position ensures safe, reliable operation of assets while supporting the overall facilities team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on property vehicles, including oil checks, fluid levels, tire pressure, battery charging and spark‑plug replacement.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, cleaning and lubricating as required.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies, requisitioning items when needed.
• Record daily logs of operations, safety activities, test results and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, report hazards, complete required safety training and store flammable materials properly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years related maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
