Engineering Technician – Maintenance

About the role

The Engineering Technician provides essential maintenance support for property vehicles and equipment at a leading hospitality organization. This full‑time, onsite position ensures reliable operation of engineering trucks, shuttle vans, electric carts and related tools while adhering to safety and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor routine maintenance on property vehicles, including oil checks, fluid level inspections, tire pressure monitoring, battery charging, and spark plug replacement.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, encompassing cleaning, lubrication, and routine inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, safety checks, instrument readings and equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, report hazards or incidents, complete required safety training and store flammable materials properly.
• Ensure a clean, professional appearance and protect confidential company information and assets.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, prepare written documents accurately and answer telephone calls using proper etiquette.
• Assist the team in achieving common goals and respond to employee concerns.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, pushing, pulling and placing objects up to 50 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
