ERP Software Engineer (Odoo)

About the role

Nawah for Technical Solutions and Software W.L.L is a Doha-based Odoo partner delivering ERP implementation, customization and custom software for manufacturing, trading, HR and manpower supply and facilities management companies across Qatar and the GCC. It is also the developer of WinDoorERP, an Odoo-based ERP for uPVC and aluminum window and door manufacturers. The company is hiring a Software Engineer with strong ERP expertise to build custom Odoo modules, integrations and migrations for real clients and for its own products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain custom Odoo modules (Python, XML, OWL / JavaScript)
• Customize views, workflows, QWeb reports and access rights to client requirements
• Build integrations with third-party systems via REST, XML-RPC and JSON-RPC APIs
• Plan and execute data migrations and Odoo version upgrades
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot Odoo instances on Linux servers
• Contribute to WinDoorERP and Nawah apps published on the Odoo App Store
• Write clean, documented, version-controlled code using Git

Required profile

• Currently based in Qatar with a valid Qatar Work Permit (QID)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP software development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Good understanding of business processes such as sales, inventory, accounting and manufacturing
• Good written and spoken English

Required skills

• Hands-on Odoo development experience (v16 and later preferred)
• Solid knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML and Git
• Nice to have: Odoo Enterprise and Odoo.sh, OWL and front-end development, Docker and Linux server administration, published modules on the Odoo App Store or a public GitHub portfolio
