Facility Management Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

The Facility Management Supervisor ensures that the Society Sport centre operates at the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Reporting to the Head of Wellbeing, you will lead maintenance, vendor coordination, and health‑safety compliance to deliver a world‑class member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain gym premises, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment servicing.
• Manage external contractors for cleaning, pest control, AC maintenance, and equipment supply, reviewing reports and invoices.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and oversee fire safety equipment, first‑aid kits, and evacuation drills.
• Lead the housekeeping team to ensure consistent cleanliness of high‑touch areas.
• Assist in budgeting, track maintenance expenditures, and keep accurate logs of contracts and inspections.
• Maintain inventory of assets, tools, and consumables, recommending equipment upgrades as needed.
• Support event operations by coordinating facility setup for classes, marketing activities, and third‑party bookings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of facility management experience in a gym, hotel or commercial fitness environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and contractors.
